If you have walked this, walk it with someone
We have no leaders here — just men who have come through their own hurts, habits, and addictions and stayed around to help the next man. A host reads every application and calls you before anything is set up.
What we ask of mentors
- You have worked the Steps yourself, or you are far enough along to walk honestly with someone else.
- You listen more than you advise, and you never try to fix anyone.
- You keep what is shared with you private.
- You point men toward Jesus gently, and you never pressure anyone about faith.
- You hand off anything medical or urgent to professionals and the 988 line.
Approved mentors can be listed on the mentor directory with only a first name and last initial. Nothing goes public until you say yes.
