Peer support only
168 Alliance is a peer-to-peer community and educational resource. We are not a licensed counseling, therapy, medical, psychiatric, legal, or emergency service. Members, mentors, moderators, volunteers, Ryn-X, lessons, and community posts do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide professional advice. Do not delay or replace professional care because of anything on this site.
Emergencies
This site is not monitored as an emergency service. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, call or text 988 in the United States or call 911 for immediate danger. Contact an appropriate local emergency service outside the United States.
Your choices and responsibility
You decide whether and how to use information shared here. Recovery decisions, medical decisions, meetings, travel, in-person contact, and reliance on another member remain your responsibility. Verify professional credentials and public resources independently.
Community conduct
Do not threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, diagnose, solicit, spam, share another person's private information, encourage illegal or dangerous conduct, or post sexually explicit or abusive material. Do not use the community to sell services or form inappropriate relationships. Keep identifying details out of public posts.
Moderation and access
We may review, hide, remove, preserve, or report content; mute or suspend accounts; and limit access when reasonably needed for safety, law, or community boundaries. We do not promise to review every post or prevent every harmful interaction. An account, Mentor badge, moderator role, or listing may be changed or removed at any time.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit. You give 168 Alliance permission to store, process, display, moderate, and reproduce it only as needed to operate and improve the service. Stories are not displayed publicly until approved. You must have the right to submit your content and must not identify others without permission.
Third-party services
Meeting listings, crisis lines, professional resources, maps, downloads, and external links are provided for convenience. We do not control or guarantee their availability, accuracy, safety, licensing, or services.
No warranties
The site is provided as available and without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for a particular outcome. Recovery and personal outcomes cannot be promised.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 168 Alliance of the Treasure Coast, TplusTwo Holdings, LLC, and their volunteers, moderators, mentors, administrators, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for actions, content, meetings, advice, omissions, or conduct of users or third parties. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms and will post the current date here. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by Florida law, without overriding rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
