Open every hour of the week

Online recovery support groups you can walk into at 3am

There are 168 hours in a week and a meeting covers one or two of them. The rest is where people relapse, spiral, or sit alone with something they cannot say out loud yet. The 168 Alliance is a free online community built for those other 166 hours: text chat rooms open around the clock, hosted by people who carried the same hurt, habit or addiction and found their way out.

It is text only — no video, no voice, no one is put on the spot. We are a Christian community and we say that plainly, but nobody is pressured to pray or speak. We are not here to replace Celebrate Recovery, AA, NA or Al-Anon; we encourage you to keep going, and we will attend your first few meetings with you if you want.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Pull up a chair

Sign up with a first name and last initial. Email is optional. No cost, no interview, no waiting list.

  2. Step 2

Start in the Main Community Chat Room

The big room is always open. Read for an hour if you want. Nobody makes you introduce yourself.

  3. Step 3

Move into a circle when you're ready

Separate rooms for addiction and sobriety, honesty and shame, heavy days, and endless scrolling — each hosted by someone who lived it.

  4. Step 4

Take the lessons and the real help

Ten-minute lessons you can read or listen to at 3am, plus counselors, shelter, food and work contacts when talking isn't enough.

What you also get

  • A prayer wall where you can ask for prayer in writing without joining a conversation.
  • A lessons library in plain words, read aloud if you would rather listen.
  • Professional help — counseling, detox and treatment, a bed tonight, a meal, an employer who hires people with a record.
  • Ryn-X, a 24/7 character-building chat companion built on 49 principles — a bridge to real people, never a replacement for them.

In danger right now? Call or text 988. Free, 24/7, and a real person answers.
